与众多的Downtempo乐队相比来自美国的Thievery Corporation总是给人与众不同的感觉，02年他们推出了第三张专辑The Richest Man in Babylon。此专辑最大的转变是流露出明显的东方色彩如： Un Simple Historie的朦胧； Facing East的印度色彩。此外Thievery Corporation以一贯精良的Dub底蕴带来了清雅Bossa Nova曲式的－Omid；美丽非常的 All That We Perceive与The State of the Union；由Notch唱出的Dub Reggae－The Richest Man in Babylon；Emiliana Torrini演绎带有浓厚Trip-Hop色彩的 Until the Morning。The Richest Man in Babylon虽然不能称作一张无懈可击的唱片，但高质素的作品仍能反映Thievery Corporation的优良的音乐特质。(文/maijean) |
