91-95年单曲合辑套装……
前“史密斯乐队”(TheSmiths)的主唱莫瑞司(Morrissey)最近终于发表了新专辑《you are the quarry》。这不单是本年度一个最重要的回归，同时也是莫瑞司近十年来最优秀的专辑，还是本周新作品中编辑打分最高的一张唱片。
1994年，莫瑞司发表了举世惊艳的《Vauxhall AndI》，取得传媒一致的高度评价，攀上英国榜冠军，是他自1988年处男专辑《Viva Hate》以来表现最好的一张作品。
著名乐评人安德鲁·哈里森当年曾说，如果他能保持这样的水准，歌迷也就不必老盼着史密斯乐队回来了。结果7年没有动静的他如今再现人间，大家对《You Are TheQuarry》好评甚至超过了当年那张《Vauxhall And I》。
前山羊皮乐队的主唱布雷特·安德森与“前前山羊皮乐队吉他手”伯纳德·巴特勒分道扬镳十年后再次走在一起合作，昔日思想一洗而空。近日，布雷特在“山羊皮”的官方网页上已证实他已跟伯纳德再度合作。写了十五首新歌，并表示这是他俩所做过最优秀的东西。
目前，他俩正跟一名鼓手和一名低音吉他手所组成的新乐队进行彩排，乐队尚未定名。到了6月份他们便会进入伦敦的录音室工作，并希望作品可以在明年年初发表。
