Guns n’ Roses(槍與玫瑰)是成軍於1985年的重金屬搖滾團體(屬於早期傳統的重金屬,藍調曲風濃厚)。成軍時由下列樂手所組成。
* Axl Rose - (主唱)
* Slash - (主奏吉他)
* Izzy Stradlin - (節奏吉他)
* Duff McKagan - (貝斯)
* Steve Adler - (鼓手)
團名的組成是取自於 L.A. Guns和Hollywood Roses,是故取名為槍與玫瑰。發行三張作品如下.....
* Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide - a self-produced EP in 1985
* Appetite for Destruction - Their first LP under Geffen Records in 1987, sold 20 million copies, had three top 10 singles, and hit #1 on the charts
* G N’ R Lies - released in 1988 hit #2 on the charts

在發行專輯"Lies"之後不久,鼓手Steve Adler便因為吸食毒品而開除離團，1990年Guns n’ Roses重新回到錄音室，這時加入了新的鼓手Matt Sorum和鍵盤手Dizzy Reed,同時在1991年推出兩張專輯,哂没孟笾弧⒍Ｍ瑫r都在榜上都有排行前兩名的佳績。
然而,在發行上述兩張專輯之後，整個團又經歷了一次大風吹般的改組過程。
這時換成節奏吉他手Izzy Stradlin和Axl Rose不合而萌生退意。此時Gilby Clarke便進來擔任原先的節奏吉他的位置，此時槍與玫瑰便展開為期28個月之久的巡迴演唱。同時也包含Freddie Mercury tribute加入一起巡迴的過程。
